Hey! My name is Amaira I'm a junior at The British School.​

Science Around Me is a website that can help you understand the scientific basis of a multitude of seemingly ordinary everyday activities. 

From lighting a candle, to switching a light on, if you're the kind of person to go "Hm, I wonder how that works.", then this site is for you.

I plan to upload a simplified explanation of a variety of activities. Hopefully, with time, all of my readers and I, will be able to gain a better understanding of the world around us.

Please note that this website was made out of pure interest. Since I do have school and other extracurriculars to juggle as well, please excuse the sporadic posting pattern! Anyway, I enjoy making these posts, and I'd love to have you enjoys reading them, so feel free to leave feedback :)
